Bookworm Registry offers a complete and simple, end to end service for setting up a registry, promoting it to your community and allowing them to make purchases on your behalf. The components of the process ensure a successful "campaign" that requires minimal effort and manpower.

This system gives you an avenue to directly reach out and connect with your community for online donations - a gift that is easy and rewarding to give.

1.) Set up an Account

We collect all of your location details for shipping, and tax exemption information for receipt generation. You can customize your registry homepage with your school logo and a personalized message, and you can create more than one registry per location (i.e. multiple classroom lists, and/or the library all from the same school). We will need the names and contact information for each registry as you will be assigned individual usernames and passwords. All of your information is saved and this allows you to edit your individual registries, view progress throughout the campaign, and even pull up old event registries as a starting point for your next drive.

2.) Select items for your Registry

We provide an extensive and up to date list of over 2 million books, periodicals, maps and more to choose from. Items are searchable by title, author, grade level, subject matter and more... Short book descriptions and pictures are offered, as well as several format options: paperback, hard cover, library bound, audio, etc. You can even set items as "priority" so that donors will know which items are most important to you.

3.) Reach Out to Your Community

We provide customized, promotional flyers for you to email or pass out throughout your communities to get the word out and tell people how and when they can donate, and because all donations are done online, families can contact relatives and friends from all over to participate.

Once your campaign is complete:

Book Delivery

The items purchased from your registry will be shipped directly to the school. We are able to provide two different shipping options. For a date specific campaign, which is what we suggest for your first drive, we can have the full order processed once an event is complete, saving your donors money on shipping charges and making distribution and inventory easy and all at once. For a bit more in shipping and handling cost for your donors, we can process each order as it comes in and leave your registry open as long as you like. In either case, you will also be receiving a customized book label for the inside cover of each book, with a personal message or dedication from the donor.

Event End - Plan Another!

By choosing a date specific campaign, you can give your event a start and end date so that the promotional campaign can be most effective and create urgency for your potential donors. At this point, you can make your registry active or inactive depending on your plans. For example, turn it on again for another campaign drive, or for the holidays, or even at the end of the year for students to "leave their legacy!" Whatever you decide, your old registries are saved so that it gives you a great starting point for your next drive.
